Or, maybe they are not waiting as long between engagement and the wedding day, so they need their veils and headpieces in a hurry. GOWNS & VEILS
There are some new trends in wedding accessories that we've been noticing. White gowns and accessories have always been popular, but we've been selling more ivory than white accessories these days. Also, some gowns come with a touch or color, either in a sash, trim or train, and brides are choosing to coordinate their veil by choosing a veil that is edged in the same color.
HEADPIECES
Vintage and retro is in! Birdcage veils have been growing in popularity for about the last 2 years. Movies like "Sweet Home Alabama and "X-Men" have popularized the Birdcage veil look. It's so sophisticated and trendy. Along with Birdcage veils, feather and flower fascinators have become very popular. They can be worn along with the Birdcage veil , or alone as a hair accent. Some brides are also requesting that their bridesmaids also wear fascinators for a sophisticated look. Also, hair jewelry and hair pins have become popular. They're a good alternative to the traditional veil or headpiece, and can be worn by young brides, or mature brides. They are a great hair accessory for second-time brides too.
